University of Westminster – Lineatures
Lineatures is a large-scale window installation designed for the University of Westminster in collaboration with architect Gordon Shrigley. The fragmented typography was conceived for a space approximately 10m wide. The installation was initially commissioned for a period of only four weeks but was kept for nearly two years. It created a focus point for the building's exterior as well as a great ‘visual filter’ looking outwards from the interior. The fragments are based on imperceptible details of banknotes.
