Filmarmalade is a sub-brand of Marmalade Publishers of Visual Theory, releasing contemporary films and video art on DVD. CHK has been affiliated with the publisher right from the start in 2007. The close collaboration has enabled CHK to create an unusual series of design narratives which span over a considerable period of time. Each year the ideas of multiples / technology / art are revisited and build the basis for the new covers. Filmarmalade publish a series of films and books selected through invitation and open submission with the aim of encouraging wider access to the artists’ films and addressing questions of visuality.
